On September 17, the "Mathematics and Computer Science" section is being held at the UIIP NAS of Belarus as part of the 22nd International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "Youth in Science – 2025."

Young researchers are presenting results in a wide range of areas, from numerical methods and algebra to the application of AI in biology, medicine, and education.

The institute's scientists also participate in the section's work:
Vadim Vengerenko (Systems Identification Laboratory) presented a method for selecting a neural network architecture for a given task;
Alina Makogon and Maria Slesareva (Intelligent Services Department) presented projects in audiovisual navigation and crop rotation management based on agrogeodata;
Anton Novikov (Mathematical Cybernetics Laboratory) presented modeling protein interactions using fields defined by neural networks based on cone matrices.

These studies demonstrate how the institute's young generation of scientists are integrating mathematics, computer science, and AI to address pressing scientific challenges.
