International cooperation

Home  International cooperation

The strategic goal of implementing international projects is to increase the competitiveness of domestic scientific and technical products, promote them on the world market, and maximize the attraction of foreign investment in the scientific research sphere of the Republic of Belarus.

Proposals for cooperation

The United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as the leading organisation in the country for fundamental and applied research in the field of information technologies, is open for active and productive cooperation with national and international partners. Our work covers a wide range of areas, including image processing and pattern recognition, design automation, mathematical and computer modelling, supercomputer technologies, bioinformatics, medical informatics, digital cartography and information space technologies.

The laboratories of UIIP NAS of Belarus invite universities, research centres and commercial organisations interested in sharing experience and scientific knowledge to collaborate with us. We aim to promote the integration of research and practice, which will enable a new level of quality in scientific work and applications.

In 2024, researchers at our institute successfully participated in a number of significant projects, such as working with Chinese and Armenian colleagues on an Association of International Scientific Organisations (ANSO) grant on deep learning and computational modelling. In addition, we implemented a project with the Republic of Uzbekistan, where we developed innovative algorithms for screening cardiovascular diseases using artificial intelligence methods. Such research is designed to significantly improve diagnosis and treatment, as well as to improve the quality of medical services.

We invite organisations that are interested in joint scientific research, exchange of experience and development of new technologies in medicine, bioinformatics and other related disciplines to partner with us. We are ready to consider projects on joint development of new technologies and methods, as well as to offer expert advice and support in training of highly qualified personnel.

Let's work together for the benefit of science and society, creating innovative solutions that will change the world for the better!
