Research Interests
Professor Michels‘ research comprises both fundamental and applied aspects of computational mathematics and physics, addressing open research questions in algorithmics, computer algebra, symbolic-numeric methods, and mathematical modeling to solve practically relevant problems in scientific and visual computing.
